The Library is located in 107 Akerman Hall and is used to
hold meetings, conferences, and presentations. Student group meetings should be
scheduled in 107B AkerH conference room or a classroom as a first choice;
especially late afternoon meetings after 4:30 PM. If a faculty member has a
meeting that runs from 4:00 to 5:00 pm. with students, the faculty member
should be present for the entire meeting and make sure that the main office
area is secure when they leave. The exception to this will be the class
presentation at the end of the semester for the senior design class. Seats
approximately 15.

Note: Departmental faculty
and committee meetings will always receive preference for library use. If
needed by the Department, other groups may be asked to move or reschedule their
sessions at any time.
Akerman 107B will be available November 1, 2021 and is a conference room used to hold general meetings, and student design team meetings.
Any student group meetings after 4:30 PM should be scheduled in a classroom. If 107B AkerH is not available, you can schedule a classroom with the
assistance of the AEM office staff. Please send an e-mail to aem-dept@umn.edu with your request. If you need a projector for your meeting, you can check one
out through e-net.
Conference calls can also be set up in this room. The conference phone can be
checked out from the AEM office staff. Availability can be limited during the
academic year.
