Launch site: Blooming Prairie,
Minnesota (ball fields on west edge of town)
Launch time for 2 balloons: Between
9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. (if attending the
launch, try to arrive before 9:00 a.m.)
Flight: Payloads are expected to
ascend to between 80,000 and 100,000 feet,
then land 10 to 12 miles (a very short
flight!) mostly due east of the launch site
after about 2 hours.
