1. Nuri: The physical setup and software of the motion tracking system has been optimized following visit by technicians from the company.

2. Brian: Designed a high aspect ratio wing for an upcoming sailplane endurance competition. The Metrodome has been booked for the competition, the team can use this opportunity to carry out flight tests in the large enclosed airspace of Metrodome.

3. Paw: Hardware integration with Yardstick airframe complete for upcoming flight test. Looking at options to replace heavier connectors and antenna of XStream RF modem with some custom components.

1. Paw: Conducted tests on Micronav's barometric altimeter sensitivity.

2. Matt: Generated aerodynamic data using Tornado VLM code for Yardstick airframe. Presented details about the Moment of Inertia meeasurement setup for the airframes.

1. The EKF algorithm for Micronav IMU successfully compiled under eCos. IMU calibration and EKF validation next up

2. Paw: Carried out prelim EMI tests on the effect of electric propulsion unit on magnetometer readings of Micronav IMU. Raw data showed fluctuations of the order of 5deg in heading for 0-100% throttle movement. Read full report here

3. Matt: Looking into sysID on slowstick airframe. Prof.Mettler suggested use of simple transfer function fitting for longitudinal/lateral-directional dynamics first. Also got stability and control derivative data for slow stick using Tornado VLM code from KTH,Sweden

4. Francesco (The Benevento team): Are waiting for their shipment of Micronav IMU to arrive, following which they start avionics integration with airframe. A new post doc is joining his team who will look into nonlinear identification piecewise linear identification of the dynamics. Both UMN and Benevento flight data to be used for identification.
